Eric’s story is one born out of love for his community and a deep sense of duty. Eric was  raised in the picturesque shores of Panama City Beach, attending Beach Elementary, Surfside Middle School, and finally graduating from J.R. Arnold High School. Eric currently resides in the Cove neighborhood with his beloved wife, Jenna, and their two precious children, Chase and Elizabeth, affectionately known as Lily.

From a young age, Eric understood the true meaning of dedication and sacrifice. His public service began at age 11 performing search and rescue missions for the community with the Civil Air Patrol. After graduating, less than a year after the 9-11-2001 terrorist attacks, Eric felt compelled to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he honed his strength, discipline, and leadership skills.

Upon his honorable discharge, Eric returned to his beloved Panama City, eager to protect and serve his community in a different capacity. Joining the Bay County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff and later the Panama City Police Department, he spent six years patrolling the streets, ensuring the safety and well-being of his fellow citizens. As a patrol officer, field training officer, and traffic homicide investigator, Eric witnessed firsthand the challenges and hardships faced by those he swore to protect.

In 2011, Eric decided to further his education and pursue a calling to the legal profession. Balancing his commitment to the community and the pursuit of knowledge, he became a reserve police officer while attending law school and later practicing civil law. Serving as a reserve police officer, he offered his expertise and courage to the Panama City Beach Police Department, Parker Police Department, and most recently, the Bay District Schools Safety and Security.

Eric's devotion to those in need extends beyond his professional obligations. His compassionate spirit and unwavering belief in justice drive him to provide pro bono services to the underprivileged and injured military veterans. With a deep personal connection to the struggles faced by veterans, as a 100% disabled veteran himself, Eric understands the unique challenges they encounter. He is determined to make a difference and lend his support to these worthy individuals who have given so much for our country.

Eric's journey is one of passion and commitment, rooted in his love for this community and his unyielding desire to make a positive impact. Running for State Attorney in Florida's 14th Judicial Circuit, with his personal and heartfelt connection to the people and the place he calls home, Eric stands ready to safeguard justice and protect the rights of each and every citizen.
